The highlights of the historic and listed building from 1902 include the mosaics in the entrance area and the beautifully decorated staircases. Cotton reference material from more than 40 countries is stored in the so-called arbitration room. This is used in fiber testing to compare the quality of cotton samples supplied with reference samples from the origin. Modern laboratory equipment is used to test cotton samples to ensure frictionless trading.
During the tour, you will get a glimpse of the foyer, the staircase, the inner courtyard, the "arbitration room" and the two meeting rooms. Finally, you will enjoy the view from the tower room of the marketplace, Bremen's good parlor. Since ongoing operations take priority at all times, it may not be possible to visit everything on every tour.
