During the virtual city tour you will see video sequences and photos from Bremen's old town in a presentation and we will tell you something about the city's history, the most important sights and about Christmas. For some of the stories, you can guess whether they are true or lies. At the end you will find out the solution.
You can enjoy the tastings as you like during the virtual city tour. You are also welcome to prepare a cup of tea in advance. You will receive more information about the individual tastings at the beginning of the tour.
How exactly does the virtual Christmas tour work?
A few days before the virtual Christmas celebration, you will receive a small package with winter and Christmas specialties from Bremen by mail within Germany. The package contains
- 1 piece of Bremer Klaben (cake with raisins)
- 1 small jar of Bremer Senatskonfitüre* (Bremen Senate jam)
- 1 small bag of roasted almonds with cinnamon taste
- 1 Elisen gingerbread with dark chocolate
- 2 small winter tea samples*
* Depending on the production, the sort may vary.
For organizational reasons and to ensure that the package reaches you on time for the tour, registration is only possible at least 14 days before the date.
The virtual city tours take place via "Zoom", an external platform for video conferencing. You will receive more information about the technical requirements and the procedure when booking or on request from us. To participate in a virtual city tour it is necessary to download the program Zoom free of charge. In addition, a mobile device with Internet access is required for participation, such as a computer or a laptop.
