How does the drop tower in Bremen work and what happens in it? Let us explain it to you in an easy-to-understand presentation in German and try it out for yourself with small hand experiments.
How does the drop tower in Bremen work and what happens in it? Let us explain it to you in an easy-to-understand presentation in German and try it out for yourself with small hand experiments.
After a presentation, if possible, you will be shown the ZARM integration hall - where the experiments are prepared - and the deceleration chamber of the drop tower.
And you can take a look at the prototype of a Moon and Mars station.
A lower age limit of 12 is recommended.
The drop tower top will not be visited during a guided tour.
The meeting point is at the main entrance of ZARM (Center for Applied Space Technology and Microgravity) at Hochschulring - you will be picked up there. Since the building is not freely accessible, it is requested that you arrive on time at the meeting point. Thank you very much.
The guided tours take place in cooperation with ZARM Bremen.
Once a month there is an open date for a guided tour (only in German language) in which you can participate as an individual or with your small group. You can find the dates here:
